How to Pay with Alipay from Europe? 🇪🇺

Alipay is the most widely used payment method in China. Good news: it is now accessible to Europeans without needing a Chinese bank account! Here is the step-by-step visual guide to pay your SinoYak order securely.

Download the Alipay App

Alipay is available on the App Store (Apple) and Google Play Store (Android). Search for the official "Alipay" app (by Ant Group).

Create Your Account

Open the app and sign up with your European phone number (+44, +33, +49, etc.). You will need to verify your identity with your passport or national ID card (this is an international KYC security standard, your data is encrypted).

Link Your European Bank Card

Go to "Me" > "Bank Cards". Add your Visa or Mastercard. Alipay now accepts European cards. A small test deduction (refunded) may be made to verify the card.

Pay Your SinoYak Order

Once your order is placed on SinoYak, our agent sends you an Alipay payment link on WhatsApp.

  • Click the link from your phone.
  • The link opens in the Alipay app.
  • Verify the amount in Euros (€) or USD ($).
  • Confirm with your Alipay PIN code or Face ID. Done! ✅

🛡️ Good to Know: Security and Fees

Security: The merchant (SinoYak) never sees your bank details. The payment is processed directly by Alipay and your bank.

Fees: Alipay may apply a small commission (around 3%) for international card payments. This is often much more advantageous than a SWIFT bank transfer.
